Drinking one alcoholic beverage per day or drinking alcohol at least 3 to 4 days per week is a good rule for people who drink alcohol. But don’t drink more than two drinks per day. More than two drinks daily can increase the risk of overall death as well as dying from heart disease. Drinking one or two standard beers per day may have positive effects, such as benefits to your heart, better blood sugar control, stronger bones, and reduced dementia risk.
To review the related literature we concluded that moderate beer consumption of up to 16 g of alcohol/day (1 drink/day) for women and 28 g/day (1–2 drinks/day) for men is associated with decreased incidence of cardiovascular disease and overall mortality, among other metabolic health benefits.
When you bring the beer glass up to your mouth, you’re actually inhaling the aromas as you’re drinking the beer! So basically, it mixes the smell of the beer with the taste of beer on your tongue. This is what makes beer taste so much better in a glass than in a can or bottle.
Beer Glasses are a type of glassware designed for both serving and drinking beer. Beer Glasses can vary in size and shape depending on how they are being used and the type of beer they are meant to hold. Goblets are one of the larger, more extravagant types of glassware that beer drinkers come across. Unlike pint glasses that hold a specified amount of liquid, goblets can be found in a variety of sizes.
Goblets can be described as having a long thick stem, with a bowl sitting on top. Chalices are another common name for goblets, as they have the same shape. Chalices usually have thicker glass walls and may be heavier. You may find some goblets and chalices even have a gold or silver rim. This is merely decorative and serves no real purpose in terms of improving the quality of beer.

You may have already heard of the snifter glass, as it is usually used for tasting cognac and brandy, but many people don’t realize that it’s also great at enriching the aromatics of beer. The unique shape of the glass allows you to swirl your beer around, stirring up the volatiles which helps bring out the full aroma of your brew.
